Tianyu Zhang is mainly engaged in marine environment early warning and prediction and marine disaster prevention and reduction research, and also carries out scientific research in multi-disciplinary cross directions in the marine field, including marine observation design, climate change response, marine GIS, big data and artificial intelligence. As the project or technical director, he has completed more than 30 national 863, science and technology support, marine public welfare projects, national major projects and provincial and ministerial scientific research projects. He participated in the preparation of 5 monographs or textbooks, published more than 50 papers, and won 5 provincial and ministerial science and technology awards.
