Collaboration and Exchange

The college embraces diversity and growth through active external exchange and collaboration. In the past three years, it has established the “Marine Science Forum” and “Dialogue on Marine and Atmospheric Science” academic exchange platforms, inviting over 60 experts and scholars from around the world for lectures and organizing international and national conferences such as the “South China Sea Annual Meeting” and the “Workshop on Physical Oceanography and Ecological Responses in Shelf and Shallow Seas.” The college has launched a dual master's degree program in physical oceanography with the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. Additionally, it collaborates in talent cultivation and scientific research with institutions such as the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), University of Maryland (UMD), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), UNSW, Louisiana State University (LSU), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Ocean University of China, Xiamen University, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Ministry of Natural Resources. The college has also signed joint talent training and research agreements with numerous marine enterprises and meteorological bureaus.
